Posting this in a friends house , but my village doesn’t have power or internet.
Fit the last two days and likely into tomorrow.
Esb crews are hard at it .

  1. Took a spin around a few of the areas nearby that are also without power and not a single esb or kn group truck or van to be seen. Power check says we’re without power til wednesday. I’m disappointed

  4. Nah, I’ve got a shit load of batteries and an even bigger one sitting outside. Movies on laptop, lovely and toasty. 

  5. Our house has become sanctuary for the family haha, done about 10 loads of washing, showers ont he go constantly, and the kettle.

  7. Seriously though. It’s crazy to see how much reliant on internet we are. Just getting petrol last night was a 1 hour journey, 3 petrol stations could not dispense because their systems were offline.

    Takeaways were only selling cash, because no card readers, and imagine who’s carrying cash nowadays.

    ATM wasn’t working either in my village.

  8. No water or Electricity here till Wednesday it looks like, I’ve already scared off other Cavanians (my family) from the fire
