  1. With respect (or fuck you), EU and the US just supported islamism in Syria, same thing they did with Ayatollahs and Taliban, and this one will just backfire like the other two, soon women cant even talk in public and the people are like “HOW COULD HAVE THIS HAPPEN”.

  2. The “Rebels” winning here look like the sort of excitable ruffians I’d cross a galaxy to avoid.

  3. Many plan to actually go back to Syria.
Let’s hope Jolani is actually a 4d-Mastermind and not just a Jihadi with a good PR-team.

  4. With how happy they are you’d think so, but something tells me they won’t.

  5. Deport them who without a job, skilled workers who can speak local language can stay if they want, but they have to respect to European values and willing to integrate.

  6. 1) most syrian refugees flead to countries bordering syria and many are already flooding back. Lebanon has basically suspended it’s border checks today

    2) the syrians who went to europe have been there for a decade. They have roots in multiple countries now. Should Jews have left america in the 60s because Germany is no longer ruled by an autrian painter?

It’s been one day. No one knows where things in syria will actually go from here.

  7. To be fair, Syria won’t be a good place to return to even in 5 years lol, assuming that it all goes well now.

  8. Thanks going out to our yankie pals for flattening another cuntry and emptying out its contents into europe.

  9. and just like that the housing crisis in germany is over.

  10. I think EU should act proactively here and try everything in its power to ensure that the mew government will be acceptable to us.

If this Jolani guy can be reasoned with then his past shouldn’t really matter.

If someone can deliver a peaceful and stable Syria, we should help them to make that happen.

  11. The new leader is an Al-Qaeda general lmao the situation didn’t improve one bit

  12. On a serious note: Most of the of syrians celebrating this afternoon that I have talked to said they are already preparing to return, lets hope this all goes well

  13. Given the atrocities that were done and perpetrated by the Assad regime, it’s hard to be lower than that (islamists are awful, but Assad literally gassed his population and levelled cities with the help of Russia and Iran). The truth is that we simply don’t know what will happen.

  14. I mean the Assad regime is over but now the jihadists rule the country, the only good ending would be the Kurds taking over but I think Netherlands not sending tikkies is more plausible than that ever coming to fruition.

  15. It’s unclear if the rebels will actually be successful in bringing some peace to Syria. It’s not safe for refugees to go back until they see some improvement of the situation, where they can feel safe again. It really sucks to have to leave your home because of war, hoping for a brighter future where they can have normal lives again

  16. Interesting that you think the civil war would have ended now.

  17. Interesting that you think the civil war would have ended now.

  18. ‘the rebels’ used to have a different name for the back in the day. This is this generations liberation of Libya. I have seen how it goes so, sit back and enjoy the show I guess?

  19. I hope they wont… we’re finally ignored because of them :))
