The junket last month was a reward for the footballers winning the Sam Maguire.
The PSNI tonight confirmed they had received a complaint and have launched a probe.
A spokesperson said: “A report was made to the PSNI regarding an incident which is believed to have occurred in the United States in November.
“Enquiries are currently being carried out and no further details are available at present.”
Hero manager Kieran McGeeney’s players, management team, family members and other senior figures from the Armagh County Board spent a week in the ‘Sunshine State’ in the middle of November.
The luxury trip, a bonus for winning Sam for the first time since 2002, was paid for by the GAA in Croke Park and by a fundraising drive carried out by clubs within the county.
The group lapped up the luxury five-star Eden Roc Miami Beach resort, where rooms start at €480 a night.
The visitors took in a college football contest and a basketball game while soaking up the sunshine.
But following the party’s return home, a complaint was made to the PSNI.
Armagh GAA declined to answer a series of questions from The Irish Sun about the police probe.
It is understood Ulster GAA are also investigating what happened in Miami.
Ulster GAA did not respond to a request for comment.
Armagh edged Galway out of the 2024 All-Ireland football decider by a point in July, sparking scenes of joy as the championship dark horses emerged from the pack to claim the title.
