  11. Inherited is an interesting word here, looking up the definition, you can obviously inherit your genes from your parents when they are alive, but when it comes to financial inheritance, it is always following the death of the person you are inheriting from, if Oxford is to be trusted.

    Sorry to be pedantic, but reading the title I was like how the hell did I miss Tom Cruise’s death? Happy he’s still kicking and that Katie Holmes is kicking back against the pricks.

  12. It’s a generally accepted practice that a child can access their Trust fund at the age of 18.

    Did Katie Holmes make special provisions, like limited access at 18, full access at 21, or 25.

    So technically, it could be a lie.

  16. You know Tom will leave his fortune to Scientology. The kids still have had a great elite life while he is alive. And he paid his child support every month. He chose to disconnect from Suri and Katie by choice and of his ‘religion’. His loss, she seems like an amazing young woman. And will have a fantastic life with or without him.

  18. Katie is probably just grateful her father was smart enough to see the forest for the trees, and even though he couldn’t dissuade her from marrying him, he was able to carve out an exit plan for Katie and future kids.

    Suri is better off, he tried to sign her away to the Sea Org.
