43,000 confirmed battlefield deaths. There are literally thousands of MiA yet to be confirmed. Both sides delay confirming as it slows down payouts to relatives.
Adding another 0 to that figure would probably be more accurate
For how long is this war now going on 2 or 3 years? I can’t imagine how tried they must be but kuddos to him and the military not surrending to russia. Russia now exhausted in ukraine had even to step away from syria.

Propaganda, fog of war, call it what you will, Ukraine with (emphasis on) support can and will continue to attrit the Russian army for a long time.
The reason they haven’t lowered the conscription age is they can’t field as many soldiers with their provided inventory of equipment and support.
Even though Russia has 6-7 million military aged men to pull from doing so will
– cause their economy and future demographics to sink further
– a significant amount of these are Moscovites. They’ve been sending mercs, prisoners, ethnic minorities and now North Koreans to avoid this. You start sending Moscovites, you’ll lose power and the number one rule of a dictator, stay in power.

lol Trump outing their casualty count as 400k forced him to increase his fake numbers a bit, although even Trump’s numbers are probably 20-30% too low on Ukraine and too high on Russia. I’m guessing Trump got it backward and it’s 400k casualties Russia, 600k Ukraine – that would be a reasonable fit for the situation we see on the ground and fits nicely with Ukraine’s wild casualty claims for Russia since Zelensky would never quote a lower public number for Russia than his own real private casualty count.
