The wife of the vice president elect is a birthright citizen, so is JD Vance gonna send his wife to India as a part of this immigration reform? As a part of the next administration isn’t he beholden to Trump to follow through with his support? The last VP he had who didn’t go through with dear leader’s wishes had a mob chanting to hang him on January 6.

  15. As an American born abroad, and having my citizenship questioned numerous times already, I’m wondering how that will work out.

    The country where I was born does not have birthright citizenship.. My parents were not citizens of that country so I couldn’t qualify to be a citizen through birth. Both parents were American citizens, thus making me an American.

    My birth certificate is foreign, but my US documents from the 70s while legit have no security and could literally be copied with little issue with today’s technology….

  34. Question: if my family came over from Germany and Ireland right after WW2. They never became citizens, but their children, my grandparents, were birthright citizens. If this is taken away, am I no longer a citizen?

    Edit: I understand that it would mean future birthright, but wasn’t sure if it would affect past ones too
