  1. Yep, trade is such a mess these days that tariffs cost jobs.

    Tariffs are fine for protecting *existing industry*

    They don’t do anything for industry that’s gone.

    And not all of that industry is oversees.

    Go to YouTube and look up how basically anything is made these days and you’ll be shocked how much automation there is.

    Your granddad’s factory job is never coming back. The factories might, but the jobs go to robots.

  2. Trump is an ill-informed person. He was asked about experts saying the negative things about Tarriffs. His response was something like a 12 year old.

  3. Given most US exports to Canada aren’t packaged consumer goods, I’m gonna say this will have little impact.
