  1. Maybe they shouldn’t have been helping to sanewash Trump and maybe they should have been pushing the achievements of this administration. My sympathy for the media is quite low. 

  2. The last thing we want the populace to know is something close to the truth. You remember “truth” don’t you, it’s goes hand in hand with facts.

  3. No they wont. Media is captured by big business, your news comes from 4 sources and one of them is an unabashed propaganda wing of the conservative party. American journalists are about to learn what the cost of click bait and both siding truly is when the trump government comes after their access and starts to formally label and arrest them as enemies of the people. They had four years to show and report on trump accurately and they kneeled to the dollar. F*ck’em, they are not a friend to the American people and failed miserably at their responsibilities to report the truth.

  5. Most countries have a publicly owned news media to ensure unbiased reporting. If only privately owned are left then it’s for-profit reporting left which essentially means news that drives audiences and not the news that’s important for people to know.

  12. To this day they still treat Trump with kid gloves. They air every last stupid comment, while at the same time downplayed democrats and what they got done.

    After the election? Now we talk about tariffs. Now the economy is great! People across the country voted against “Bidens shitty economy” only to say after its all done, that honestly its not that bad. Now we reveal that project 2025 will leave Gaza high and dry. People hearing for the first time that literally anyone non white could be targeted for denaturalization if the gop could manage it.

    Even today, “why are people so upset about this UHC ceo being murdered?” Like make it any more obvious that you serve rich people.

    Now that theyve helped elect him and he wants them jailed? Cry to the big businesses that bankroll you. The common people dont care

  22. I used to be a regular NPR listener… but tbh, NPR and PBS are dinosaurs. They’re is making old school content for the well-educated center-left-ish professional-managerial class, and there are plenty of other news and entertainment options available to those people. They don’t make content to inform or entertain the average person. Public broadcasting isn’t exactly the home of hard-hitting journalism, either – NPR’s “calm and steady” coverage of Trump since 2016 is one of the most blatant examples of media sanewashing.

  23. Conservatives don’t listen to NPR, they get their information from Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, Faux “News,” and other nutjobs. Conservatives HATE intellectuals. It’s like they’re threatened by them.

  28. Look, most media is owned by rich assholes who will profit monetarily by Trump, while the rest suffers. For the country to heal, corporate media needs to die. The only issue: the fascists will never let their propaganda die off, since it worked wonders for them.
