  1. The rebel factions that took over Aleppo do not accept other religions than Islam, a resident of the Druze city of Suwayda in southwestern Syria told Israeli state broadcaster KAN on Monday. "The factions that took over Aleppo destroyed Christmas trees that were set up for the holiday. They are murdering Kurds in the streets," he noted, adding, "Their slogans are 'Jihad' and 'Allahu Akbar.'"

While he noted that the "current regime is dictatorial," the citizen of Suwayda added, "It allows freedom of religion and does not interfere in that domain, whereas the Islamists do not accept other religions in Syria. This is fundamentally different."

"The Syrians did not sacrifice what they sacrificed just to move from bad to worse. That is the source of concern," he told KAN. "We want the situation in Syria to improve, not deteriorate further."

  2. Rebels ??!?
U mean Al Qaeda and ISIS .
Those are the same guys that beheaded and murdered all non-sunnis in Western Syria and Eastern Lebanon.
There was a video that they posted , of a captured officer of the Lebanese Army. They forced him to convert to Islam (sunni), every time he refused , they sliced a part of his body , starting with his fingers , then hands , then beheaded him .

Those guys are as bad , if not worse than Bashar.

  3. The US spent 24 years and 7 trillion dollars on the effort to defeat the islamist fundamentalists. Now they seem to be willing to spend a couple of more trillions on supporting them to fight Iran and Russia. Is it only me who thinks that the political class of the US, or the West in general, actually haven't got a clue what they are doing?

  4. If these rebels are Muslims then why they don't fight against israel? turkey is also a fake muslim country, and one of the best friends of israeli

  5. The offensive is being led by an armed group called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, a former al-Qaeda affiliate that cut ties with them in 2017.

  6. Basically it’s Al-Nusra who split from ISIS not because they where moderate but because Al-Qaeda backed Al-Nusra because ISIS’s Baghdadi declared himself Caliph(leader of Islam) and Al-Qaeda didn’t like that.

This isn’t the good guys marching into Syria at best ideologically they land somewhere in between the Taliban and ISIS.

  7. This is a nice propaganda video. They are showing the terrorists during gymnastics lessons. Why are they not showing the results of their attack? Desparate Christians an Alawites fleeing, destroyed houses, wailing women, the usual stream of images.

  8. Now will the West un-sanction HTS since they now rule Syria with a name change?…or the West going to start another Islamic War with HTS aka Al Nusra formerly part of as the Base structure..
