I lived in Finland for a year pre-pandemic, and gifted my hubby with these kinds of socks. They are fleece on this inside, very thick, stretchy, NOT wool. He wants replacements for his birthday and I’m not having luck with an online search. I’m in the states. If I remember correctly, they were inexpensive and easy to find at most large stores.

  1. I might be going out on a limb here, but based on your description and a deep analysis of the images, they could indeed be fleece socks.

  2. Pehmosukat! That’s it, thank you! I’ve never seen them in the states, it’s more than just a fleece sock.

  3. The pörrösukat seems to translate in a way that yields quite broad options. The UK maybe calls these bed socks?

  4. Is it even a Christmas if you don’t get a pair of these to toast your toes in?
