  1. Video has no audio. Source says he survived and I doubt they would lie about it and upload the video if he was killed

  5. God damn that’s intense. (Wait…. The camera man under threw a grenade that caused the explosion? That’s sorta shitty, but it happens. Accidents are called accidents for a reason. There not intentional.)

    I know the guy is probably all sorts of fucked up from the explosion and such.

    But I hope he recovers as best he can!

  7. The shooting with another soldier right in front was weird. Each time the soldier in front moved I thought he was going to get shot.

  15. On behalf of combat grunts everywhere, can I say (as a combat grunt) that this shows just how close we can bring fires to our own friendlies? I’m tired of people claiming that even unloaded and cleared weapons must be treated as fully loaded by *everyone*. Some people use these professionally and even point loaded weapons at each other on any given and normal day?

    Also, can this serve as proof that a grenade has an uncertain blast pattern and limited amount of force and does not inherently equal an “insta-kill.”

  16. Did that grenade just bounce off a branch and friendlied his mate? Dunno the circumstance, but that dude with the m16 thought his buddy was a sand bag.

  17. It’s crazy how chaotic a warzone looks like. You dont know where exactly your enemies are or where or when you’re gonna get hit.
