Ukraine’s interception rates soar as allies send more air defenses against Russian targets

  1. More from allies is the preferred way in tandem with improving EW capabilities. The Ukrainians in the past few months have started downing or diverting as many Shaheds via EW as they have from all other AA weapons (guns and missiles)

Improving what they can do with EW would means more ammunition and ability to concentrate on taking out missiles and other big threats.

  2. This is welcome news. It’s important for protecting infrastructure, as well as the civilian population.

  3. Get the Russians at both ends.

Wipe out the archers, not just the arrows. How hard is that for the cowardly politicians in the West to understand? Or do they truly want to *vindicate* the Russians’ thesis that we Westerners are A-OK with defending ourselves to the last Ukrainian?

Bulk up the Ukrainians’ defenses, build up their **offensive** capabilities and **delete** the asinine restrictions on using NATO’s donated gear. A fighter doesn’t have much of a chance to win by merely being able to absorb more punishment than before. He/she also needs the appropriate capacity to hit back and neutralize the opponent.

Otherwise we’re basically patting ourselves on the back by contributing to the Ukrainians’ *defensive* successes which means that they’re forced to fight by killing off the ants one-on-one in an attritional war which favors the Russians, instead of blasting the anthills to get a meaningful bang for the buck and minimize casualties.

  4. Great news. Air defences save lives. The West must keep supporting Ukraine, and not let them down. 🙏🇺🇦
