A Ukrainian military GoPro recorded the moment when, during an assault on Russian positions in the Donetsk region, one of the fighters received a bullet in his helmet, elbow and backpack, where a grenade exploded. Despite this, the fighter survived, escaping with injuries.

1. I see this and just am amazed at the heroes of Ukraine. Never would I have guessed any of this outcome and I think most would say the same. You can’t kill a Ukrainian wit ha simple gut shot and headshot, you better bring in the Red Guardian or something.

    It’s been hated everywhere in US military (always being compared against M4). With the rise of drones, I think M16 are going to stay even longer in service. They can have 1-2MOA at 100m as opposed to AK’s 3-5MOAs. M4s are also thought to be slightly worse than M16 (at longer distance).

    That’s really important because drones you’d worry about in this type of battlefield are quite small – probably 3-5MOA. You just gotta be expert+ marksman.

33. It occurs to me, and I don’t comment on these videos frequently, that there is no cover, no terrain to really speak of, and crazy people throwing lead everywhere because they’re desperately trying to buy their lives with ammunition.
