*Many added chemicals (not to mention unintentional impurities) are not good for our bodies. The main concern: disruption of the endocrine system; a complex network of glands & organs producing & releasing hormones, controlling many basic body functions, such as metabolism, growth & reproduction.*
*“The endocrine system isn’t everything, it’s the only thing, because endocrine is hormone. Hormones are our signaling molecules, our master conductors of body communication; from gonads to heart to brain.” Connections are diverse & many, regulating “temperature, metabolism, salt, sugar, & even sex.”*
I don’t think that anything is going to help us with micro plastics. Soon our bodies will be so polluted that our organs will cease to function.
All adults currently alive have a plastic spoon worth of micro plastics in their brain. The other organs have about 10% of a plastic spoon worth of micro plastics.
