Local legend claims that they ordered a sign for “Regal Food” but the sign maker fucked up and they just rolled with it.
One of my favourite local stories cos the name of that place gets questioned so much.
So, NOT a front for money laundering then.
Bugger, I was going to go there to see if they had any stollen cake. Sainsbury’s it is then.
Very human recipe
I read the window as ‘delivery service alibi-able’
Taking this photo while driving gives an unexpected level of irony.
Might be the same people that own “Decent Sweets” in Glasgow
Nothing to see here.
I’m gonna assume they meant Regal…
License is a verb
My Chinese friend translated the characters to mean “Authentic”, so perhaps it’s a synonym issue…
Oh cool they’re still.going. they’re in Lincolnshire aren’t they.
Reminds me of a bit in the Discworld book *Jingo*, where a Klatchian takeaway in Ankh Morpork is named “Mundane Meals” because the owner wanted something that meant “everyday”.
Legal food at illegal prices. You’ll love us
I’m just laughing at your other pica at the bottom
Hey, it’s one of our top tourist attractions!
Ho Lee Phac
Sure. Unless you give them a wink, the secret password and ask for “the special”.
My “Legal Food” sign has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my sign.
This has p op pped up before but my friend who has sadly passed away, moved the owner. The story he swore blind the owner told him was that the sign should have been ‘regal food’ but due to a misunderstanding with his accent the sign arrived as legal food, I’m not sure if it’s a true story or something the owner says to mess with people.

That’s just the lowest hygiene rating
Ah yes the sister shop to “Technically Food”
Ironically actually really tasty food and good hygiene rating from what I recall
Yay Lincoln.
The food is suprisingly really good. no nominative determinism here
“I’m just eating a meal, a succulent Chinese meal”
Chinese Police Station?
Legal, like our employment practices… please don’t speak to the employees
All legal here, officer. nothing for you to worry about…
For some reason I’m impressed they got the url https://legalfood.co.uk/

Why upload a screenshot from your camera roll instead of the actual photograph?
