  1. Can he also lose Georgia and Belarus while he keeps losing?

  2. It became apparent that Russia’s support is not worth anything.

  3. Yawn. Russia is losing all the time for the last two years. I read it all the time on reddit and also in international newspapers. You could assume that Ukraine is winning the war without any effort and one hand scratching balls.

But Ukraine just announced that 50 000 Ukrainian soldiers died in the war already and they need more support. Trump wants to at least reduce supporting Ukraine.

So how about writing and talking less shit and actually do something?

  4. I’ve seen enough articles like this in the usual subs that it feels more like coordinated wishful thinking

  5. He has caused about 1 million s people death… the fucker

1 million is a huge number, if you meet only with ten people a day. It will take about 274 years to get to meet all of them

  6. Been hearing about this fool’s demise for many years. Wishful thinking.

  7. Much more interesting is if Putin is willing to sacrifice Assad and delivers him to the rebels or new power in Syria to not lose his influence on the country and region.

  8. Look I’m gonna be brutally honest, Putin, not my
    Kinda guy.

  9. It’s what Zelensky has been saying: you don’t have to be scared of this fucking guy, NATO

  10. Ironically, the rebels showed Putin how to perform a Special Military Operation of regime removal.

  11. As the article states, this turn of events has shown Russia’s force projection is being severely strained by the War in Ukraine. All the more reason to support Ukraine. I hope Britain, France, and Germany take heart, they can guide Ukraine to victory even if the US and its gang of Putinites in the new administration abandon them.

Proud of the US forces in Syria, for their part in this.

  12. Bro, his 3 day special operation has been going on for almost 3 years. He is suffering defeat constantly. I’d be super embarrassed if I were him.

  13. *Kuril Islands, Outer Manchuria and Finnish Karelia entered the chat*

  14. Can he fuck right off already. The more I read what his right hand, Assad do, the more pissed I get. Just fuck off

  15. For a moment I thought it was a stroke or something and I got a bit too happy 😔

  16. Ffs Putin has already won. His disinformation has put one of his minions in the White House. Trump will defund the support for Ukraine, allowing Putin to roll over that country. Then he’ll take the Balkans, while his proxies in charge of the US work to destroy NATO.

Putin is the lead of a new aristocracy of wealth that is going to institute a ruthless global regime. Musk and Trump are already on board. America had a chance to slow it down, but eggs were $3.00 so.

  17. For the time being, Iran is the only major loser in Syria.

Russia has suffered a defeat but I wouldn’t call it “huge”. They may well maintain their base in Tartus. It seems that Al Jolani is providing reassurance on this even though, of course, this is all hearsay.

All in all, it could have been worse for the Russians.

Iran is another thing. The poor Ayatollah has been utterly and totally humiliated. Iran has basically ceased to be a power to be scared of outside of their immediate neighborhood and I would not be surprised to see major moves against their remaining assets (the Houtis above everything).

  18. Its not ‘huge’ defeat unless he loses the bases in Syria. Crossing fingers, we’ll see.

  19. The idea that Russia could still cling onto its military bases in Syria is laughable. The country that was bombing the crap out of you just a few days before to keep Assad in power all of a sudden wants to be your friends?

  20. Can’t he suffer a huge aneurysm from stress as a result ? would fix a few problems.

  21. Defeat? Don’t you mean Tactical Military Retreat??

I got my eye on you…

  22. Could serious newspaper like the NYT maybe ban the word **just** in their title ?

It adds nothing to the comprehension of the article and only plays on FOMO from their readers to drive up “engagement” and clickbait.

  23. The more I learn about this Putin fellow the less I like him.

  24. Really shitty trick with that headline, I read it as heart attack at first.

  25. I’m starting to think this Putin guy might not be a good guy after all /s for anyone who thinks I’m serious

  26. Putin’s been on the back foot for so long that I’m starting to think he should hire a new PR team. It’s like watching a magician who keeps missing his tricks and just insists it’s all part of the act.

  27. Can’t wait for this POS to die, I will party 3 days

  28. If war in Ukraine ends in early 2025 because of Trump ties to Putin and their games against Europe, then I guess Belarus will be next target of Russia. And then Ukraine again, this time with support from both countries invading from two fronts. If war in Ukraine ends then we need to give Ukraine nukes as fast as possible. When the war is officially over it won’t be over.

  29. I love it. Where can I give a 5 star review?

Now I am not the biggest expert on geopolitics but doesn’t this boil down his core supporters to Belarus, North Korea and Georgia with maybe Hungary?

**Iran** isn’t a supporter but more of a useless ally who has suffered a catastrophic blow to their geopolitical interests with the Hamas being destroyed, Hezbollah/Lebanon on the verge of collapse and now Syria without Assad. They have their own interests and will be occupied with rebuilding some block of countries that support them.

**Venezuela/Nicaragua/Cuba** are on the other side of the world and are always damn near close to complete collapse. So, except for their UN general assembly votes, they are not too useful.

**The African states** where Russia has a foothold are in contention with other forces and it keeps costing Russia money, men and arms they don’t have.

**The central Asian countries** are in the process to switch their alliance to China.

**China** is a predator lurking and waiting for Russia to be so weakened that they can come and take some land back that Russia „lend“ a few decades ago. Oh yeah and Russia will probably become an economic vassal state of China.

**India** is just exploiting Russia for cheap oil.

I don’t know who else is there who isn’t either indifferent, hostile or totally useless for Russia in the world now.

  30. Syria, Georgia, Belarus, that’s good, but Ukraine is most important nowadays.

  31. I wish he would suffer a huge defeat and a massive “D E F E A T E D” banner appeared above his head and his vision went to grey scale and he couldn’t interact with anything anymore. But no he’s lost some influence in Syria.

  32. I need help understanding this article. Can someone please help explain?

The part I am confused about is after the rebels swept the country, didn’t (we) the United States bomb 75 targets? Wouldn’t that mean both Russia and America suffered a loss?

  33. Good, it’s about time for some “Pay Back” 🤷‍♂️

  34. It still amazes me that Putin supports foreign dictators so openly but Americans (Republicans) are incapable of believing that Trump could be a Russian puppet? Putin now has the US and a big swath of Republican leadership to go with it. They won’t be letting go of power any time soon.

  35. I love how they made the thumbnail pic grainy and “old looking” for absolutely no reason lol

  36. We have buried so much money in Syria. Now I hope the money from the Syria affair will go towards social security for the Russians. At least a portion!!!
