[Liveblog] Code yellow starting monday: CST disappears, masks only on public transport and healthcare related places

1. I’d love to know where the assholes are now who claimed we’d never go back to normal because politicians would “never give up this power over the people”

2. I will still be using my freedom and wear a mask in crowded places.

3. Question: Is it obligatory for guests to wear masks in hotels now? The [official covid page](https://www.info-coronavirus.be/nl/coronabarometer/) says it is not, but lots of hotels seem to insist on it. It’s weird, because they do require the CST after all, so it should be “safe” anyway.

6. Aw fuck. I’m really not ready to give up masks yet. Last time we lost the mask mandate it took only ten days for me to catch a hellish cold.

8. What I thouroghly enjoy: vulnerable people are advised to wear an FFP2 mask.

   What makes me vulnerable is my asthma. An FFP2 mask literally suffocates me.

10. This is going to be weird. I haven’t seen the face of most of my classmates and it felt weird to see it when lunching together today.

11. I followed the rules as best I could, but I’m so happy we don’t have to wear a mask anymore. I missed seeing people’s faces, seeing them smile. It genuinely makes me happy.

    Since they’re doing the same thing in the Netherlands i feel like it’ll be put back up quickly

    (A small thing I’ll add, a good chunk of my school doesn’t care about taking precautions so i wonder when online classes will start again)
