    Reform UK has unveiled billionaire property developer – and former Conservative donor – Nick Candy as its treasurer, with the job of raising big money to fight the next general election.

    The property tycoon was close to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, donating more than £270,000 to the party under his leadership and attending the then-PM’s wedding.

    Now he says Farage could win the next general election – and is promising to raise “tens of millions” for Reform UK, telling journalists he will donate a “seven figure sum” of his own cash as well.

    Is anyone still believing that Farage isn’t just going to strip what’s left of the UK and sell it to people like Nick?

    Same as the Democrats in the US, Labour won’t do enough after 5 years to stop a clown becoming PM.

On the one hand, it’s worrying how fast Reform are growing, especially when you consider that they were the party that finally managed to get Nigel a seat as an MP after he has failed so many times on his own merits. On the other hand, if things keep going how they currently are, they’ll have no funding once Russia’s economy realises that it should’ve imploded a year ago.

  15. Half of me hates farage and his disgusting views.

    But I know farages views on housing and landlords and now that he has a property tycoon funding his party I know he will relax laws (like how we are unable to offset mortgage costs on profit etc). It’s going to be hilarious watching poor people who rent/own nothing give tax relief to people like me.

    I don’t want farage in power, at all…. But watching desperate people vote for a party that will make me richer and them poorer will at least be the upside.
