For what I have seen, in Belgium crimes against children often remain unpunished. Perpetrators get a few restrictions or a conditional punishment at best. And after that, there’s no one to impose or enforce those ‘punishments’…

There seems to be a new popular strategy in Flemish government to try to blame the institutions that you are responsible for.
Demir wants to blame OVAM for 3M.
Beke wants to blame Kind&Gezin
You are the responsible minister! For multiple years now and before it were others of the party that you were leading!
If these institutions don’t have the resources to do their job, then you need to make sure they do. If the lack the proper rules and procedures, make sure those are installed!
Without taking any responsability about what happens in your area, it is extremely easy to be a minister. Taking the credit, though. That Beke has done.
How this man receive any votes outside of his immediate family, is beyond me. Maybe from the rich businessmen that profit from his privatization efforts.
