– It’s a very thin majority
– It comes *after* the EU decided to engage with the UK on the problems the latter has with the implementation of the NIP
– Things have been relatively quiet in NI over the past few months. The previous poll, which found that only 43% of those surveyed thought that the protocol was a good thing on balance – that came on the heels of riots and social disorder. Point being, that if we see similarly disruptive episodes in the future, it’s likely that popular support for the NIP will again wane.
That’s because they are British not Irish. Don’t trust Presbyterians.
