A great summary of what happened in Stormont this week causing Buckley's stamping of the feet and pouting. Real politics where the majority wins

This is actually a major milestone.. Particularly as some of the trading rules are now kicking in hard.
The country is going grand at the minute and regardless of whether we end up going for independence or not we still have a present to build on. In reality when we are in a bad way its down to aggressive loyalist unionism by and large, come on I’m not doing a both sides thing, dissidents and extremists on either side have been a pain in our hole but we have unelected loyalists and terror groups who are pressuring the government into continual shut downs due to their colonial mindset and that’s just a fact.
But if we can keep the actions of the last year or so going, kick the drug dealers and wheelie binners out to fuck anywhere from near government buildings and the media and then get that fat cunt Nolan to stop his profiteering and get his divisive perpetual troubles mentality off the fucking media we will have a chance.
“Real politics is where the majority wins”
So time to forget the cross community consent principal in Stormont now? The door has been firmly opened for simple majority votes.
State, not country.
Under half of the population here are turkeys.
They used to be the majority and tried to run the gaff in a way that would privilege the turkeys.
The non turkeys lead a civil rights (and terror) campaign to end turkey rule and, after a long peace process, came to an agreement to rule together.
This agreement included sophisticated rules to ensure cross community consent (basically ensuring that if the turkeys ever got a massive majority again, the non-turkeys would have power to veto decisions that ran against their interests).
The turkeys voted for Christmas a couple of years ago and would very much like to double down on that vote. They are being prevented from doing so because greater powers have conspired to bypass the sophisticated cross community consent agreement when it comes to Christmas related matters.
I’m fully opposed to the Brexit disaster and my business relies on the Windsor Framework to survive – but sidestepping the cross community consent process on this vote does seem to run contrary to the principles that established peace here.
It makes sense to use produce farmed from our own island. I shop in Dunnes weekly and the produce is by far superior and fresher to that of the large supermarkets Asda Tesco etc. not to mention cheaper with their loyalty discount. If you were an environmentalist then it also reduces carbon miles.
But it’s an absolute disgrace that it’s easier to import from an eu country than it is our own UK. Our politicians have repeatedly selected the wrong strategy and it’s infuriating.
I’m a unionist, wife from south and nationalist. Within her business she obviously deals with both sides of community. I couldn’t believe how staunch and silly some of my fellow unionists can be. She has had elderly unionist customers tell her they shop in dunnes and they even buy the meat with the tricolour on it! As if to say they are doing their bit for cross community support. It really is laughable. They are deadly serious too.
Having said that the prods are her most generous and loyal customers. Loyalty must run in the blood. Lol.
NI isnt a country
The best part of this is that the people who wanted to drag everyone back to the past with a hard border have now been swiftly kicked into the future, and it’s all their own fault.
the unionists really consider losing fair and square rigged because… they didnt get to go “waaaah, i protest this”
The sea border is there because the only country to speak of is Ireland and any hardening of the open border across it was prevented by Dublin via its membership of the EU.

“Today’s vote is an illusion of democracy. A rigged vote,” the Democratic Unionists’ Jonathan Buckley argued in a 67-minute speech which proved so long that, at the end, a relieved chamber burst out in laughter as the speaker declared: “Thank God!”
This is amazing 😂
Growing up? You think that ministers refusing to pay health care staff the same pay as the rest of the UK, telling us that drinking our own shite is perfectly fine, and handing large sums to paramilitaries is “growing up”?
