Will be very interesting to see how they propose to actually enforce it. “Yes I’m 14 but I’m here in holiday and it’s legal when I’m from”, “yes I’m 16” etc.
Wonder how many people would drop out from here if they actually enforced it.
A good idea on paper, but it’s the execution that matters and should be in a way that you shouldn’t have to give ID to every site you go to
I just don’t see how that can be policed. It’s already impossible to ensure those under 12/13 don’t access social media, they just find a way around it. 16 and unders will be exactly the same.
I for one have total confidence in the extremely competent SNP to enforce such a policy in a sensible manner.
