Is that Magne Fremmerlid? The man has a voice that can fill any room, it’s incredible.
For me, it’s Nordnorsk Julesalme. It really fits with the (in my eyes) characteristic northern balance between modesty and pride, with a bit of stubbornness, complaining, and a suitable bit of piety.
The text is powerful in its simplicity, and it fits very well with the northern dialects. Maybe not all of them, but as long as Trygve Hoff and the local choir sing it, I’m good.
