MOSCOW, 11 December (BelTA) – Belarus reported the highest growth of real wages among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-September 2024, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

In January-September 2024, wages increased in all EAEU countries year-on-year. The average monthly real wages in Belarus went up by 13% and in Russia – by 9%,” the EEC noted. Real wages in Kyrgyzstan grew by 6.7%, in Armenia – by 6.6%, in Kazakhstan – by 2.9%.

Belarus also recorded the highest growth of nominal wages over the period – by 19.6%. In Russia it went up by 18%, in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan – by 11.8%, in Armenia – by 6.6%.

In January-September 2024, the average monthly nominal salary amounted to: in Armenia – $713 in equivalent, in Belarus – $690, in Kazakhstan – $854, in Kyrgyzstan – $409, in Russia – $928.
