If major parties like Labour would support PR, this wouldn’t have to be the situation.
As it stands, anyone voting against the incumbent outside 40 or so swing seats are just throwing away their vote each election, and having their values go unrepresented.
The UK can’t even start a conversation about improving its democracy until parties like Labour listen to their members, where the majority support PR.
With all the levelling up going on in the North it’ll be a Tory landslide /s
