TV licence prosecutions will be the next Post Office style scandal down the line. I’d say anyone involved with it should probably give some thought to what level of involvement they have and how to back out.

Don’t know if it’s changed but you are charged 50 pence a week to have a TV in your cell while in prison
They do charge you for TV licence in prison
I dunno if its changed but institutions pay for 1 overall license for the entire premises. I didn’t need a license whilst living in my barracks during my time in the army because of that.
