Can someone help my dumb brain understand the difference between "Wann wurde" and "Zu welchem Datum wurde"?

  1. First is when you received the notice, second is the date of your last working day to which you were fired.

  2. Wann wurde gekündigt means when you were noticed about it.
Zu wann… what is your first day unemployed

  3. Wann wurde -> on which date were you told that you are fired (shipment date on the termination letter)

zu welchem Datum wurde -> on which date is your contract running out (e.g. received termination notice on 01.12. and the termination will take place on the 31.12.)

  4. The way I understand it, the first field is for the day notice was given, the second field is for the date the notice takes effect and then the third field is for the date the notice was received. Seems awfully specific though, Agentur gegen Arbeit?

  5. THANK YOU ALL for your help! I love this community <3
