New York is on the Verge of Passing Law to Make Big Oil Pay for Climate Change Costs | NY would be the second US state (following VT) to enact a “climate superfund” bill. Climate activists are holding a three-day sit-in demanding Gov. Kathy Hochul sign the bill into law.

If you live in NY, call Gov. Hochul’s office at 1-518-474-8390 and ask her to sign the Climate Superfund bill, S2129B. Give your name and where you live to the person on the phone.
No wonder – think about the price of moving the City of New York because it will be flodded 😂
Super baby Super.
I’m sorry. Downvote me. This bill is a disaster. NY will never get a dime from the fossil fuel industry. Probably it will be energy cost increases for the whole state. It will be endless litigation. And SCOTUS will ultimately rule against it. And Trump will torpedo it. Hochul is already toast in 2026. We will be getting Lawler as Governor just as we once got Pataki years ago. Game over. The rest of the decarbonization agenda will also fall and be repealed. The only way is to work towards a new version of the climate that doesn’t penalize the working class.
