Robin Williams Made an ‘Enormous Difference’ by Always Hiring Homeless People on His Projects, Says Daughter Zelda

2. [Snopes](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/robin-williams-helps-the-homeless/) investigated the rumor that Robin Willaim insisted on hiring homeless people for every project and couldn’t find a reliable source.

   Someone on Twitter claimed it was part of his rider, but a rider from 2002 showed no such stipulation.

   Normally I would consider his daughter enough confirmation but I am surprised she didn’t mention specific ways this was done. IE through specific programs or people. I hope she’s right and not just repeating the interne rumor by accident.

3. She’s a (nepobaby) filmmaker herself so I assume she also hires homeless for her projects as well, right? It’d be pretty hypocritical of her otherwise.
