Russian Defense Ministry ordered disposing bodies of own soldiers killed in Ukraine

  1. – “Sir, we should not kill civilian, sir!”

    – “Bring the crematorium, there’s a body to dispose”

  2. I understand why for logistical, health and safety, etc you may do this while in Ukraine. But if you have repatriated to body back to Russia, then give them a proper funeral and give the family closure. You can’t hide missing people forever.

  3. Legit question. How many more forces can Russia continue to expend before it becomes weak enough to worry about an invasion on its own soil and a war in Moscow and what’s the likely hood when Putin runs out of soldiers to do his bidding that he just presses the button?

  4. Russian state media published news how there is an anonymous source in Russian government who claim Russian troops have found evidence of “secret Ukrainian nuclear program”:

Couple days ago Bellingcat published an opinion of supposedly anonymous FSB military expert who has predicted that Kremlin may prepare nuclear terrorist act in Ukraine after planting “evidences”:

Please, do something about it. Like spread the information. This is really important.

  5. Isn’t Russia supposed to be a conservative Christian country? How does *that* get together with their supposed beliefs?

Or is it, as usual, the case with any systematic state-supported religion? Meaning picking and choosing the convenient parts, usually the ones that support you staying in power and your bigotry.

  6. This is so bad for the families! Many russians are orthodox and they have traditionally always buried the bodies.

  7. >The document “for official use only” requires from March 1, 2022 to withdraw identity documents from the personnel of the Russian army fighting in Ukraine

This is the most fucked up part, they’re not only disposing off bodies, they’re making sure the fallen may never be identified. Even WWII soldiers are still identified and given proper burial with their remaining relatives informed thanks to having dog tags, no such luck for modern Russian soldiers apparently.

  8. A general stance that I have adopted is not to believe neither Ukrainian nor Russian sources on this matter. Too much bullshit and propaganda flying around.
