The eurozone economy is “losing momentum” as the manufacturing sector has contracted and growth in services slowed, European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde said Thursday.
In addition, “the risk of greater friction in global trade could weigh on euro area growth by dampening exports and weakening the global economy,” Lagarde told a press conference.
