We are talking about Europeans here. Taking them in is the right thing to do.
Yeah, that law feels pretty cringy by now…
However, in the first two years after its introduction it was only used 7 times. The entire point of the law was to create bad PR, which obviously has been fulfilled. Essentially giving Denmark a bad reputation when it came to hospitality towards refugees (who, at the time of the law’s introduction were from outside tbe EU).
And they even say the Nordics are the zenith of humanity and very tolerant…
How civilized!
That is a pretty racist law that Danes used against middle eastern time refugees. Glad that they are not using it against white Ukrainian refugees. They should going forth scrap it completely. Racism is not cool.
