Notably, there has been no visible promotion for the show, entitled, imaginatively enough, Polo; no interviews or podcast episodes with Meghan or Harry have dropped, and records suggest there are no premieres or press events scheduled to support its launch earlier this week…
McNulty noted the absence of coverage in the Hollywood trade papers and the apparent absence of any scheduled premiere or press activity for the series, saying: “The lack of a proper, visible press campaign for a series from Harry & Meghan raises an eyebrow to say the least.”

Can we move discussion of them to r/HollywoodGossip? It’s just click-bait now.
Meghan and harry haven’t promoted ANYTHING they’ve released with Netflix… not even the documentary so this is a bunch of nothing from the daily beat who don’t shy away from writing negative articles about the Sussex’s…
Perhaps that’s because it’s not Meghan’s show – her name is just being used as clickbait.
They aren’t doing anything but all anyone can talk about is the Polo show and them not doing anything….
Netflix is definitely not supporting the show. It’s not in any of their promos on their app. I had to search for it to find it. They don’t want it to succeed.
I don’t think this is anywhere near as bad as people are pretending it is. It is however using tried and trite reality TV editing. This probably would have been successful 10 years ago. Now, everyone has seen storylines edited this way dozens of times before. We can see the manipulation of the situations so clearly now.
I think the criticism is beyond overblown. But, it’s also not great TV.
I’m gonna give Meghan a pass here but LMAO Harry. if you don’t support your art nobody will. (yes, I’m playing fast and loose with the word art.)
Yet it’s sitting at number 2 for their sports documentaries, but sure, it’s a failure 🤷🏼♀️
Clickbait
Meghan and Harry hate sells.
Just wish they would fade into the background
It is interesting to me that Harry and Meghan aren’t promoting it, but there was some press when it launched. The filmmaker did interviews (which of course the articles focused more on what Harry and Meghan were like to work with than the show):

Edit to add: I’m on the third episode and I have wondered if Harry had wanted the show to be less crazy rich ppl drama and more about the sport itself. I think he’s generally a pretty earnest person, sometimes overly so for me, and I feel like when he talked about the show he was imagining a much more earnest documentary about grit and sportsmanship where the show is much more reality TV in my opinion
They don’t need to promote anything–the anti-stans and the unhinged UK tabloid media are giving them all the free publicity in the world. I wouldn’t lift a finger either.
