  1. I pressed the reset button and it made a noise for a minute or so and then went off. It’s not making any noise now. Have since given up on the Immermat and still don’t 100% know what it’s purpose is. Landlord for air bnb not picking up.

  2. Remove the red casing, there’s 2 screws. Pull out the black plug. It’s about half way up, clean it with tissue. Bleed it a little, the valve should be on the bottom left. Replace casing. Turn it off, is there a switch on The lwall? Turn back on the switch, turn back on the heating and hit the reset button.

  3. All those contraptions are either haunted or have tiny elves living in them. I dare not go near one. My only thought is to have a priest do an exorcism and throw holy water on it. : )

  4. Looks like it’s out of oil, you see the clear ball thing at the top right we have them on mine and my mother’s and you can see the oil in them when we have oil . But not 100% certain I may be wrong

  5. It’s going into lockout after the fuel pump kicks in. It’s likely that you’re out of oil or the line is clogged or air locked.

Outside chance is that it’s the PV sensor but if you’re not handy then I don’t recommended messing with it, just get someone out instead.

  6. A few possibilities, it’s possible it ran out of oil and needs to be bled post refill. Or it ran out of oil and it’s still out of oil.

If it needs bleeding, it’s really easy. Pop off that red cover, there should be a pipe with an Allen screw at the end. Turn on the power to your heating, press the reset button and very carefully loosen the screw. Do not under any circumstances remove the screw, you’ll get sprayed with oil.

This video covers the procedure for that exact burner

Also, you might have to run it and bleed it a few times for it to take. If you don’t feel confident in doing it get on to any local gas/oil boiler service person, usually a plumber.

  7. No oil or air locked, I have the exact same burner. The tank should be nearby, have a look to see if it’s empty.
If you don’t know what you’re doing, leave it and get someone to bleed it for you – if it’s an airlock that is.

  8. Why have you not contacted Airbnb yet? You’re paying for something you’re not getting. Get them to source you alternate accommodation in the area immediately. Based on a couple of the other comments there’s either no oil or it’s air locked. This accommodation is not fit for purpose.

  9. There’s a Tigerloop on the boiler, which means it should never need bleeding. It auto-bleeds the fuel pipe into the boiler.

Either the tank is empty or almost (not enough pressure), or the Tigerloop is not working correctly.

Either way, it’s not a job for anyone without experience.

  10. That definitely sounds like no oil. Contact Airbnb directly, they need to sort you out since the landlord isn’t picking up.

  11. Oil’s empty, simple as that. Call the air bnb and ask for oil to be refilled ASAP, the lads who do it usually don’t mind helping to start the boiler back up. Don’t fuck around by yourself, can’t fix it without oil in the tank. You’re paying to stay at the place, not to do repairs.
