  1. Yeah mate, just suddenly dropped up here in mid Ulster, looked away one minute then BAM bright red / pink

  2. I was out and about there earlier and it was very strange indeed!

  3. I was just waking out of Rushmere and loads of people noticed it too. Was a strange shade indeed.

  4. I seen it too! I thought it was a bit odd for the sky to be that pink when it’s so cloudy. However I am not a physicist or meteorologist so I just internally panicked for 5 minutes then ignored it

  5. Lights on around the house since 2. I cannot wait for Spring.

  6. You know the aul shepards code?…pink sky at night…Lurgans shite

  7. Has anyone spotted them drones that are also in NJ. Particularly interested in hearing from anyone living near army bases.

  8. The colours we see in a sunset are the result of a scientific phenomenon called light scattering.

When the sun sets, it is lower down and has further to travel.

Blue light cannot travel as far as red, so much of it scatters before it can be seen by us.

Where there are more air pollutants or smog, more sunlight is scattered, increasing the chance of pink or purple sunsets.

So poor air quality… that’s why it’s pink. Ain’t science fun?!?!?!?!
