Prince Harry won’t be “easily forgiven” after “rubbishing” two members of his family, a royal expert has said.

Arthur Edwards, a royal photographer at The Sun, says Harry has “rubbished” his step-mother, Queen Camilla, and sister-in-law Princess Kate. Edwards says it has distanced the Duke of Sussex from both his relatives and the British public.

Harry, 40, spoke extensively about his family and their tumultuous relationship in his 2023 memoir Spare. In the book, he referred to Camilla as “the Other Woman” and his “wicked stepmother,” reports The Express .

He also describes Camilla as “dangerous” and suggests she was “sacrificing him on her personal PR altar”. A royal insider told the Mirror that Charles thought it was the “the ultimate act of disrespect.”

Harry meanwhile is said to be “full of regret” after falling out with his sister-in-law. He recounts various incidents where Kate and his wife Meghan Markle fall out.

In Spare, he recalls a moment where Meghan was left “sobbing on the floor” following a row over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress ahead of his wedding in 2018. And another where Prince William is said to have angrily waved his finger at Meghan after the group met to air their grievances.

Now, three years after Harry and Meghan quit life as working royals and moved to Montecito in California, speculation has been rife that he could make a return to the fold. Royal biographer Andrew Lownie feels Harry is currently “working his way back into the Royal Family”.

He added: “Of course he can come back, even the Duke of Windsor, who was in exile, did come back, more and more, without Wallis.”

However, Edwards believes Harry is unlikely to be forgiven after speaking out against his family. Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast, he said: “Harry can do nothing right at the moment and whatever he says is interpreted as some way or another.

“Ever since he left this country, the split has become huge between the Royal Family here and him, and us and him, and the media and him. It is mainly because he rubbished the Royal Family. You can’t rubbish the King’s wife, Camilla, and expect to be easily forgiven, you can’t rubbish William’s wife and be easily forgiven.”
