FG politicians are so out of touch with the public this won’t matter an iota. They’ll go for whoever is the best schmoozer.
Headline slightly misleading as the poll options didnt include current leaders of the respective parties. So hard to know if they would be preferred over current leadership as the poll didn’t ask that.
I can’t stand FG, but I’ll say this.
I respect Coveney. He doesn’t give the same plastic vibe some of the walking focus groups do, like Leo, Harris, et al.
Carrigaline is now the most powerful town in the country I guess
Fadó fadó I was behind Michael McGrath in a queue in Spar. He’d popped in for a lunch roll. This was when people still paid with cash. He left yer man on the till short twenty cents. He was challenged on it and then accepted he had. So either he tried to underpay or he couldn’t count, either way, I seem to hold it against the man, and always will.
Where’s Willie O Dea in this….
McGrath will be the bookies’ favourite when Micheál resigns but I think Coveney will get a good gig in Brussels when he’s done.
We vote in our preferred TDs and look at the mess that gets us. Helen is the anointed one for FG look at here meteoric rise, and I don’t see the justification for it
Hold on, last week we were told the next fg leader would be Harris or McEntee.

Is this just fg putting the feelers out again?
Imagine Coveney as Taoiseach.
