Hi Romanians, I’m not Romanian, and so I figured I could use your help to answer a question I have regarding Romania, or part of it: Moldavia.
I’m making an updated version of this map and I was wondering how accurate this map is for Romania, first of all, and secondly: would you consider Moldavia to be Balkan, as per the map, or would you consider it to be Eastern? I have heard that while Wallachia was Ottoman influenced, and Transylvania was Hungarian/Austrian influenced, Moldavia (and Moldova) meanwhile were more Russian influenced than anything.
What do you think, as actual Romanians who know better than me lol
Bună, români, nu sunt român, așa că m-am gândit că aș putea folosi ajutorul vostru pentru a răspunde la o întrebare pe care o am despre România, sau o parte din ea: Moldova.
Fac o versiune actualizată a acestei hărți și mă întrebam cât de precisă este această hartă pentru România, în primul rând, și în al doilea rând: ați considera Moldova ca fiind balcanică, conform hărții, sau ați considera că este de Est ? Am auzit că, în timp ce Țara Românească era influențată otomană, iar Transilvania era influențată maghiară/austriacă, Moldova (și Moldova) au fost între timp influențate mai mult rusești decât orice.
Ce parere aveti, ca romani adevarati care stiu mai bine decat mine lol

There are a dozen of interpretations of this map, what I do is simply divide with the main cardinal points and take it from there, no one can contradict you if you use simple and logical things such as this. As for Balkan, I know it stops at the southern Romanian border, hard to imagine how Moldova is a part of that peninsula.
