I disagree. 40+ hours per week does not leave you with enough time to live.
The problem is that the work week remained 40 hours instead of being decreased to you know… 8 hours of work in 4 days, 32 hours a week. Belgium didn’t achieve anything new with this “4 day work week”. Shit already existed elsewhere…
edit:
>Tesla’s Elon Musk believe employees must devote roughly 80 hours per week to create an impact.
Go fuck yourself Musk, you absolute cunt of a person
More perspective, thank u
6hrs/day for 5 days or 8hrs/day for 4 days. That would be my choice. And at least 25 paid days off/year.
Good news for social development
This is such a piss take of an article and absolutely is written by a moron.
“The problem with working a 4 day week is that it *may* cause cancer. In one study some people who worked a shorter week ended up getting cancer.”
This article seems written with a specific argument in mind and often fails to support the point it’s making. It’s very poorly written. Either the author(s) just want to attack the 4-day week at any cost or someone was just phoning it in. Honestly, go back and read it again and try to link how the evidence given in each point supports the overall thesis. The 4-day week could lead to gender inequality because… Reasons?
