I assume that ABC settled at their owner’s (Disney) command? Disgraceful, pathetic, cowardly.
I can see wanting to avoid discovery charges. I’m not any sort of expert on journalism but that seems like it could compromise their sources. That seems like a losing situation either way for ABC. Plus if so remember right they did slip-up by calling it rape when it was technically considered sexual assault. I know it’s a stupid technicality but legal terms matter in lawsuits.
