  1. They prosecute, fine and confiscate, but another scammer will pop up in its place before long. It’s a tale as old as time until they decide to enforce stronger laws around it.

  2. This could very easily have been an interesting read into *how* the council is doing something pro-active, but it’s actually just a list of fines issued by Westminster Council. A press release.

    The Standard wasn’t exactly the paper of record before it went completely digital, but it’s plummeted to Time Out levels of shitness since.

  3. I’m intrigued. The pedicab fleecing I understand, but how does the boxing machine scam work? The article says that two men were *forced to pay* nearly £2k – so I don’t think it’s card skimming.
