Everyone is either more to the left or more to the right…the centrist status quo of the Dems appeals to no one. The sooner they realize it and work on becoming a party for the left, the better for them

  28. I hate to say it, but this what happens when people don’t vote in local elections. Yes, fuck the DNC for doing this. But they would have way less old fucks to pick from if people got involved and voted younger progressives into the government. It’s a two way street (for now).

  30. As someone who can’t ever see themselves voting for the GOP, the democratic party makes me absolutely fucking sick.

    It’s nothing but elderly lifelong politicians lining their pockets while blocking the younger generation from enacting any of the real changes people want because said changes would anger their wealthy donors and shut the money off.

  33. The old stay hands of the Democratic Party aren’t going to give up their gravy train so easily. They like being able to play the stock market with their insider trading knowledge they are briefed on from their lobbyists and industry leaders. They want to keep the neoliberal philosophy that keeps them in power.

    AOC represents the working class people. That’s why there’s so much division in the same party between the old wood and the new wood. We need leaders who looks out and represents our people, the working class people. Money is a powerful addictive influence on society. It affects the representatives in government too. It’s time for change. We desperately need it now. We need representation.

  34. If any of you are in the districts of reps on the oversight committee, contact your rep and tell them to pick AOC.    

    Make your voice known and don’t let anyone, even yourself, tell you it doesn’t matter.  

     We voted these people, make them remember they need you. If we want improve things at all, we have to light a fire under these people. Even if the votes are private, call anyway.

    Edit: Tonight was the steering session, not the official vote. We live in unprecedented times, let’s show them why.

  36. AOC needs to get aggressive and become the Trump of democratic party, stop being nice and call out Pelosi for insider trading. Being nice never gets you anywhere with the establishment. Look at Bernie and look at Trump. Trump shit on everyone and they all lick his boots now.
