The Jeffrey and Eleanor Donaldson case is due back in court today.

Former DUP leader Donaldson, 62, has already pleaded not guilty to 18 offences and he is due to go on trial in March next year.

The historical charges include one count of rape as well as allegations of indecent assault and gross indecency.

His wife Eleanor Donaldson, 58, is being prosecuted for five charges, including allegedly aiding and abetting rape, aiding and abetting indecent assaults.

Neither are expected to be there in person at Newry Crown Court.

The charges against Jeffrey Donaldson relate to two complainants and are alleged to have occurred between 1985 and 2008.

Eleanor Donaldson’s charges are alleged to have occurred between 1985 and 2006.

  1. We need the film where is Jeffrey say it isn’t true .. where’s yer dark glasses talk to me ya look guilty JEFFREY..seriously where did he go had a future as that was brilliant and we wanted more let’s hope he makes Jeffrey part 2 at some point
