Hello everyone, I just moved to Finland 3 months ago and bought a DNA Prepaid the day I entered. 3 months later and there are multiple strange numbers calling me, and when I want to answer they just hang up. This is the 3rd day this is happening, and whenever I block one of them it happens with a new number. They just keep calling for 1-2 min and hang up the moment I answer.

Am I getting scammed? My balance doesn't change after answering so I'm not really sure what is going on here. Should I contact DNA Customer service? Any help is appreciated, Thank you in advance!

  1. The scam is likely to try to get you call back to them . No harm can be done by just answering calls so dont worry about that. Just block them every time they call and otherwise ignore them.

  2. Try googling the numbers. It should also be possible to block your number from being public, as in it not being visible for telemarketers etc

  4. Probably attempted scam calls. I kept getting a lot of these earlier, now I have about 200 blocked numbers on my spam list and the calls have almost stopped.

  5. As other people said, google the number. If it is flagged as scam, block it

  6. I use an app called Truecaller ID, you can report and search for the numbers there so when they call someone next time the app will notify them if it’s a scammer when they call. So for example if a number that has been reported as scammer in the app, I’ll be notified with a pop up to not respond the call 🙌🏼
