Seems like a vast underestimate. We barely experience winter in December anymore in southern Ontario.

In NJ winter has become spring or fall. winter has died.
Up to 19 so far
Grass is still green here in MN
As a Canadian, I can attest that the weather has dramatically and noticeably improved over the past 30 years. Lots of hot days in summer, milder winters, and severe storms/blizzards are few and far between.
While gaining about two months of fire and smoke.
Less snow equals less water. Drought.
I still have petunias in pots outside in Eastern Washington. Usually they are long gone by Halloween
