  1. I literally never get offered drugs on a night out here or abroad but I’m not interested.

But with certain groups of friends who like to partake, drugs seem to just magically appear.

I suspect this is mainly a problem for people who go looking for them. I don’t like how the narrative is always, some evil doer tempted the poor souls with their dangerous concoctions.

  2. I think this article is lying, at least to some degree.
So morphine and codeine are both opiates, so the inclusion of the term opiates separately is misleading

Also noscapine i do believe is a natural constituent of Opium poppys, so this then means they consumed opium and the article have tried to play it off as a mass of separate drugs

Also the wild misspelling of some of the chemicals would indicate the author has never seen a tox report if one even exists. Which would suggest things have been made up

  3. I was in Bangkok earlier in the year and people were not “always coming up to you offering you drugs” What a heap of shite. It’s easy to not get sold drugs in Bangkok.

  4. Isn’t Thailand super aggro about drugs? (unless you’re the king),

I imagine their dealers are proper scumbags…

25 seems to be the cut off point for abusing drugs tbh

  5. I spent plenty of time in Bangkok and was never offered drugs. The cops are really hot on it. This article paints an inaccurate picture of Thailand.

  6. Us Brits love drugs, points to societal problems we seek them out.
