8. The latest videos show dead Korean soldiers with tourniquets tied on one or both legs. They probably still thought they would be rescued. 

9. We can only guess what this is gonna mean for the soldiers families back home. A soldier unaccounted for would probably be counted as a defector wouldn’t they? So this means labour camp for the families whose sons were sent into a death trap on the other side of the continent. The brutality knows no bounds.

16. I don’t believe this because I frankly don’t think NK cares what happens to their soldiers. They just want to train the survivors in real combat conditions.

    I’d find it more likely Russia burns the bodies of their own soldiers so that their real number of killed isn’t known.

Yes, after realizing Ukrainians will take a position and get access to the dead, they just make sure every dead Korean gets his face burned while Ukrainian troops still advancing to their positions. They just spend minutes doing this there while getting shot at instead of retreating so Ukrainians will not have proof that those are indeed Korean soldiers. But instead of getting rid of the entire body, they just burn their faces because there are no Asian looking men in Russian army even though the majority of Russia’s landmass is in Asia.

    It’s not even funny anymore. It’s fucking bizzare how childish and mentally challenged everyone on Reddit to believe this narrative. You may lack the fundamental mental capacity that is required to analyze the situation correctly but even a dog would learn to not eat this shit after it gets decieved for the 100th time by the same means.

20. I’m finding this whole story thread a bit absurd and incredulous… if DPNK troops are going to engage in serious numbers then it will be almost impossible to disguise their presence.

24. I dont see any point to them doing this. It’s a dead soldier, how does their origin affect russia in any way to go out of their way to try and hide it.

27. I think it would have been less conspicuous had the Russians left the body alone since NK soldiers are wearing Russian uniform to start with.

    Or they could recover the bodies but too lazy to do that.

29. I mean russia does have a battlefield incinerator for dead bodies since start of war. Its why its impossible to know russia casualties accurately, when they can they burn them all.

30. Russian forces are burning the faces of North Korean soldiers killed in assaults on Ukrainian positions to conceal their identities and keep secret their deployment to help Russia in its war, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

    Zelenskyy said on Saturday that Russia had begun using North Koreans in significant numbers for the first time to assault Ukrainian positions & his forces released images and videos of what it said were the bodies of North Koreans soldiers, among some 200 killed and wounded in Russia’s Kursk region.

    “While being trained, they were forbidden to show their faces. Russian military tried to delete video evidence. Now, after battles with our guys, Russians are also trying to… literally burn faces of the dead North Korean soldiers,” sharing a 30-second video as evidence.
