31. I didn’t read the article, and I can’t stand Elon or his mom, but it’s not the worst thing to say. I’m actually very surprised, because the hard right fascists, of which both are, usually say the opposite… in sort of a eugenics fashion, that the ‘unfit’ (usually including poor people and minorities) shouldn’t breed. The whole ‘welfare queen’ stereotype is usually what you get. They weave tales of some poor person, usually a racial minority or immigrant, that is going to pop out 200 kids and then live off of welfare eating prime rib ‘all on the taxpayer expense’. There is usually a shaming that a poor person dare to procreate… as if only the wealthy should pass their genes down (Elon actually does believe that and has said so publicly).

    Is there another angle? I just really can’t take reading more shit written by these people. I’m experiencing ‘fascism fatigue’. Is she claiming that contraception or abortion should be illegal?

    People who have kids but can’t afford them are contributors to poverty, crime, perpetual welfare abusers. Not something reasonable society should promote.
