the work group chat needs a nationwide ban. what are emails for ?
If you work in the private sector it’s often a disciplinary offense (up to and including dismissal) to use third party messaging apps to conduct business, moreso if that business is with public sector bodies. And it’s because trust, risk, security, privacy and auditability.
It blows my mind that politicians and public sector officials aren’t under the same rules.
Good – should have been a thing UK wide for all parliaments/govs/councils at least 5 years ago.
Only banned it after all the WhatsApp stuff being leaked
I know of a minister whose preferred mode of undeclared lobbying is via WhatsApp
absolutely disgusting she was able to get away with deleting the incriminating messages
