  1. Looking to beef up your resume? Need something that will make every potential employer stop and say “Wait. What?!?” Your moment is here.

Oscar Meyer has opened up applications for new drivers for its iconic Weinermobile. If you’ve dreamed of driving a 27-foot-long hot dog up and down the roads of America, you’ve got until Jan. 31 to apply for the job.

It’s a paid gig, too! Hotdoggers, as the drivers are called, earn a base salary of $35,600 as well as a weekly allowance of $150 for meals and personal travel. They also get 18 days of paid time off, full health benefits and (naturally) 100% of all of their hotel expenses covered.

  2. I was going to say that thing is probably horrible to drive and embarrassing but then I remembered every chud in the US chooses to drive some oversized brick on wheels out of choice.

  3. If your per diem covers all food and drinks, or is just like $115 a day, you don’t mind living out of a holiday inn, and want to annoy/delight half of America, it’s probably a decent job.

Bonus points if there are Weiner-Groupies.

  4. You must also have a Bachelor’s degree – I think in business administration.

    College is so worth it.

  5. 35k won’t pay for my house. That’s shit pay. I don’t care about hotel stays

  6. Old singing commercial “I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner”

  7. Okay so fast and furious 13 but dom needs a job so he drives the weiner mobile and slowly get sucked into illegal street racing when a member of his family needs a macguffin.

  8. Im gonna need more money to.drive around a giant wiener.

  9. $150 a week for food? That’s barely over $20 a day if it’s 7 day or $30 per day for 5 days. How can you survive on that on the road? Fast food? Yuck 🤢

  10. A friend’s son drove the Weiner Mobile right after he graduated from college. I got the sense it was like a traveling summer camp, and he had a great time.

  11. Free lodging??? … especially the one that “we’ll leave the light on for you”!😀

  12. The In N Out by my house pays $19.50/hr starting to high school kids to cut French Fries and take orders. That’s $5,500 more a year than this and they sleep in their own bed every night.

  13. They could definitely afford a lot more with some great perks. Corporations have to ruin everything, it must be in their handbook.

  14. I’d do it over the summer when I’m on vacation but my parrot has to tag along
